The other night I went out back to turn off the pool pump and I must have seen at least ten black widow spiders. So I decided that I would have to kill these suckers because they bite and are poisonous, plus they are bugs and I just don’t do bugs.

Last night I was armed with a flip flop and hair spray. The plan was to spray the spider then squish it with the flip flop. (I would have preferred to light it on fire, but Daddy isn’t here to supervise.) All of them but two were out, all happy go lucky until Mom and I came around, now they are in little spider heaven. Rather there, then here where they can bite you:-)

It isn’t like I want all bugs to die, it is just these bugs are black widows, they have poison in them. In fact currently there is a little cricket trapped under a cup in the bathroom. Now my hope is to relocate the little creature outside where it can live a full and happy life. Normally, when there is a bug, I always try my darnedest to trap it and then put it outside where it belongs. Unless Daddy is within walking distance, then I just yell, “BUG!!!” and he takes care of it for me. I mean isn’t that in the “Dad” and or “Male” description, “bug-taker-care-of-er”.

Yesterday, I turned on my cell, which I tend to keep off when I am home over the summer, and I had a voice mail from Monica. She said that she wanted to ask me some questions. I thought okay, she wants to know when I am getting back to school, and when I am moving in to the dorms.

So we were talking and catching up on the summer, then she said she had a question to ask me. I was like, “Sure!” Then she asked if I would be her maid of honor. This is part of the conversation after:

Me: “Are  you serious?!! Are you serious?!!! I would LOVE to, I am so honored! This is SOOO exciting! Are you serious?!!”

Monica: “Sarah, are you going to be okay?”

Me: “Yes, yes, this is so exciting, I am so honored!”

Then we went on talking about summer and the up coming year!  I am very excited about the new job I have for the next year!

A few weeks ago my roommate from Virginia came out to my house for a visit. We did the usual, Hollywood, beach, Disneyland. But there was something special about Monica’s visit.

When we were down at Santa Monica, Hannah Montana was there filming her moving. While we were hanging out on the pier one of the costars came out and signed autographs. Monica was a little star struck and was taking pictures like a mad women. But the real excitment was when we came home and googled the star and found some pictures of her signing autographs at the pier. Upon closer look there were three girls in the back ground of people with sunglasses on, those girls were us.

So there you have it we are almost famous.

Facebook is a great waste of time, there is always something to do on there if you are trying to avoid work or can’t sleep at 2 in the morning. I have recently found this great little application called Polyvore. You basically create set of different colors, brands, styles, etc. This people is a great waste of time, but oh so much fun. Hello there Internet! You may have seen me at my old website, which was getting kind of old so I thought it was about time for a change. Hence the start of dismarfumblyhertech.com! This site is just a baby,  it will grow and become more sophisticated as its’ owner grows and becomes more sophisticated. I hope to make one post per day, although it may be small and not at all interesting.

This blog is mostly a place for me to express my writing creativity and share interesting thoughts and ideas. I am a senior in college and will be sure to share all of my “college stories” with all of you.
