Home again, home again, jigity jig

Rolled into Burbank AHEAD of my arrival time, God bless those tail winds! Grabbed my luggage and headed to the car then made our way to BJ’s Bar and Grill. What a wonderful time, sat and drank of glass of wine while I caught my Mom up on my life. Ate my usual grilled chicken dish and of course had a pizookie! Oh man was that good, it was all chocolate and it was so good, let me tell you!

Yesterday I returned to my old high school to say hello to few teachers that had an impact on my life in high school. And let me tell you, high schoolers are stupid! Not to be mean or anything, but seriously, they all need a good slap in the butt. They walk around like the world is theirs for the taking, and let me tell you kiddies, it soooo isn’t. Some of you will graduate high school and go onto college and be fine, whereas others will be stuck in the AV and never leave. People get out of here! It isn’t the town it was 20 years ago. Now don’t get me wrong, not all of the students act like this, but it was the majority that stuck out to me while walking through the quad.

I was worried if I had ever acted like a high schooler and was pleasantly surprised to here that I was never like a high school student. I always was grown up and was a pleasure to have in class, wow that sounds like something that I would get on my report card, good Lord.

But from yesterday, I saw what I was, or wasn’t depending on who you ask, and saw what my future holds. I left high school, moved on to college and now I am going to graduate and enter the “real world”. So to all of the high schoolers out there, grow up and don’t act so stupid!
