Getting ready to make the move
19. January 2009 by Sarah.
Things are slowly coming together for the move over to a standard wordpress account. Classes, a thesis, meetings, and crap like that are getting in the way. I wish that I could just sit down and play with my new applications all day long, but I can’t.
I will share this though, along with working out the knots on my website, I have learned of a social media browser. Yes, I am sure that I might be the last person on earth to hear of such browser, but it is out there and I am in the process of putting my touches on it. It is called Flock and can be downloaded for free at flock.com. Am I going to review it? No. I am leaving that to the true experts over at Macworld. Yes they are the experts.
I found the finding of this browser rather ironic. The thesis that I am currently writing is about social media. Therefore I find it only fair that I use the latest and greatest technology surrounding the field of social media. Thus Flock. I hope that it doesn’t disappoint. But like all new applications, some days you hate them and the next you love them. Currently I am still trying to figure out how I feel about application, seeing as how I only downloaded it seconds ago. I shall keep you updated!
And in case you were wondering…I know that I am a geek!

One Could Say That I am busy
5. October 2008 by Sarah.
Today I had to go and buy a new planner. Not because I lost the free planner that I get at the beginning of the year, no. I had to buy a new planner because the one that I get at the beginning of the year doesn’t give me enough room to write down all the things that I have to do in one day. I realize that was a run on sentence, but this is just the way my life is, one incredibly long run on sentence.
Normally I love my MBC planner, it has all of the dates for school already in it and has pictures of friends, but the boxes for each day are small. They didn’t use to be so small but I guess the more involved I get, the more I have to write down. I don’t just write down appointments or assignments that are due, I write down everything. Some days I feel like I have to write in when to go pee or I might just forget. Now I know that I will never forget to go pee, but you see this just proves how busy I am.
Somehow I think that when I have job I won’t be as busy. But then I think, no I will be just as busy because that is the type of person I am. If I am not going 50MPH from the moment I wake up in the morning, I think that something must be wrong.
So that was my morning, re organizing my life and thinking about how fast time goes and the fact that my undergraduate degree is almost done. Then off to grad school, woo hoo!
