I am a over achiever and darn proud of it!

Yesterday in my Research Methods class on the syllabus was to have a draft of your literature review/method/research questions done. I have 15 pages so far. Is it all great? No. Will close to half be changed or cut in editing? Of course. But I have 15 pages more then anyone else. Out of the 6 of us I was the only one who had anything.

I realize that may come across snotty or something, but I got started a few weeks ago and have just been working on it bit by bit and that is how I have the 15 pages. Now it will go under some serious review and editing and it isn’t even close to being finished, but it is started.

So when one of the girls, who I won’t say the name because it would be my luck she would read this, called me an over achiever, I was like, “yep that is me, and I will be getting a full night sleep the day before the real draft is due”. This girl drives us all crazy anyways and I just wish she would not talk some days because what does come out if her mouth is pointless!

So now I am reading articles to finish up my literature review and try not to think about what they, well more, she said. I am going to finish ahead of time and be happy about it, dang it!

Sunday I get to take a break from life. Well I hope I do, I have two very small goals in terms of school work that have to get done in order for me to enjoy my Fall Break. So far I think that I will reach those goals, I just have to stay focused! So I thought as I took this small break before dinner I would list why I love going to Annapolis.

• Rick & Mary’s House • In between class at the Navel Academy • Mary’s cooking • the Mexican restaurant • The Pink Crab • Being by the water • Hanging out with Kendal and Kyle • Talking about the good ole AV • Seeing familiar faces • Walking around downtown

If you have never had the opportunity to go to Annapolis, I suggest you do, it is a beautiful place and I for one have fallen in love with it!

My Dad loves indulging me in my geekness. He sends me something tech related at least once a week if not more. So today I thought that I would share with you his latest. It is a list of the 20 best ringtones and text message alert sounds for the geek/tech/gadget/sci-fi aficionado. Some of them I really wasn’t sure what they were, but then I read the little description that I am omitting in my post but can be read here. For the most part I thought that they were clever.

Here are the top 10 must have ringtones:
